Hakea Laurina growing in Mandy's backyard

I just had to share the beauty of the flower that is blooming on the tree in my backyard. Australian Native trees and shrubs can be so surprising! This little beauty is called a Hakea Laurina or a Pincushion Plant’.

Autumn has hit the Mornington Peninsula. It’s warm outside and the sun is shining. There is a cool breeze gently blowing in from the ocean. Perfect for sitting outside in the garden and reading. Oh, and making cards!
